High Voltage Technology


UMC's High Voltage (HV) technology is in high volume, high yield production for a variety of customer products. This superiority in HV technology allowed UMC to maintain its number one foundry market share position for driver ICs in 2004. Comprehensive technology solutions are available for a wide variety of HV applications such as TFT, LTPS, CSTN, OLED & PDP drivers, power ICs, and more. We have also developed an ultra High Voltage (80V~600V) process for the 0.5/0.6um generation. UMC provides a complete resource package, such as HR poly, capacitor, Deep Well, symmetric and asymmetric device solutions for customer designs.
