聯華電子與日商Super H公司今日(7日)宣佈Super H公司之SH4-202 32位元之CPU核心已通過聯電0.13微米矽製程銀等級認證(Silver IP)。聯電Silver IP認證表示此核心已在晶片通過製程認證，目前已可準備量產。

SH-4系列CPU可廣泛使用於各項多媒體應用產品：如視訊轉換盒、車載訊息系統、可攜式數位消費產品，並可透過SuperH公司與超過65家廠商合作提供的多種研發工具、軟體及設計服務來支援。

Super H公司工程部副總Atsushi Hasegawa表示：我們很高興聯電所提供的緊密支援，更榮幸獲得聯電之0.13微米製程矽智財認證殊榮，期待在未來數月內可邁入量產的階段。

Super H公司之所設計之SH4-202經由聯電的客戶採用此核心而量產後，將可由Silver IP升級為金等級認證(Gold IP)；聯電的Gold IP方案提供客戶廣泛已認證的智財權及資料庫元件，且已最佳化使客戶能輕鬆整合入其設計中。

SH4-202 CPU 核心包括了具整合性向量浮點單位的32位元簡單指令集核心，其優異性能可達1.5Dhrystone 2.1 MIPS/MHz 及7MFLOPS/MHz。0.13微米CMOS製程的CPU核心面積小於1毫米平方，完整硬體集包括CPU、浮點運算單元(FPU)，32K資料快取記憶體、16K指令快取記憶體、串列埠、計時器、即時鐘(real time clock)、中斷控制器、匯流排介面，及偵錯埠(debug port)等僅8.2mm²。
