聯華電子與美商捷碼科技(Magma)公司今日(8日)共同宣佈，兩家公司攜手提供矽驗證通過且專為0.18/0.13微米及90奈米製程之晶片設計工程師所使用之RTL-to-GDSII參考流程。聯電的客戶首次可經由此參考流程，縮短高階設計至準備試產的過程。所有元件皆可在雙方公司的網頁中下載。

一些設計已成功地導入了RTL到GDS流程，最佳的實例如雙方共有的客戶：已成功量產五百萬閘電路的影像壓縮晶片公司--WIS Technologies公司。而智原科技使用了聯電90奈米製程之捷碼科技--聯電參考流程，成功地驗證了多項智財元件核心及元件資料庫。

WIS Technologies公司營運部副總Phil Brennan先生表示：我們非常樂見聯電與Magma公司共同合作的參考流程；因聯電擁有所有重要技術之完整及易維護性的參考流程，使我們的設計可加速到更新的製程。
