聯華電子擴展與安謀國際(ARM)公司授權之ARM926EJ元件核心
聯電現可提供客戶五個不同的安謀 IP元件核心

聯電今(9日)日宣佈，已取得安謀國際(ARM)公司ARM926EJ^TM元件核心之授權。聯電現可提供給客戶使用的ARMR微處理器元件已增達五個。日前已由聯電Gold IP^TM方案提供了矽認證通過之ARM7TDMI、ARM1022E、ARM922T、及ARM946E等四個元件核心。

聯電設計支援部部長劉康懋先生表示：聯電提供多樣化設計及IP資源，使客戶的設計效能達最佳潛力。我們很高興現有的客戶能使用由聯電所提供ARM926EJ^TM元件核心，並期待客戶運用含括ARM智財元件的設計，達順利量產階段。

ARM926EJ^TM具有高效能與低耗電率的特色，適用於支援無線、寬頻、網路、儲存設備、車用電子設備及兼具教育與娛樂性的市場設計。

安謀國際晶圓代工計劃經理Kevin Smith先生表示：我們視聯電為重要的晶圓合作夥伴，並樂與其合作提供本公司數個ARM核心元件給聯電客戶使用。聯電遍佈全球的客戶，皆能透過此項協議來使用該核心元件。
