比利時商Melexis公司與聯華電子合作，推出車用電子應用產品晶片

車用半導體IC製造領導廠商比利時Melexis公司與聯華電子今日(5日)共同宣佈，Melexis公司採用聯華電子0.18微米eFlash製程與eFlash巨集，生產車用電子應用產品晶片。此項晶片瞄準多樣化的車用電子應應產品市場，包括車用電子感應器。Melexis公司與聯華電子在這項產品的研發上已經合作多年，此項晶片目前已經送至車用模組製造商進行裝配。

Melexis公司的總裁Rudi De Winter表示，“使用嵌入式0.18微米快閃處理器生產產品，對Melexis公司來說是非常重要的一步。在車用電子系統單晶片上，這讓Melexis公司能滿足市場對於彈性的需求。”

聯華電子資深副總與新事業發展處處長劉鴻源表示，“由於車用電子市場的高需求度與對與品質的嚴格要求，成功地為Melexis公司產出晶片，對每位參與這項計劃的人員來說，是相當重要的里程碑，同時我們也覺得獲益良多。”
