Mask Services

The Mask Tooling Department provides high quality and competitive pricing for UMC customers. In addition to our mask tooling services, we offer advanced mask making technology with fast delivery times to our customers. UMC has also qualified a number of leading mask vendors, including Dupont Photomask Taiwan, DNP, Innova, Photronics, PSMC, Taiwan Mask Corporation, and Toppan/TCE.

Service Scope

Frame Generation
Test key, alignment mark, CD bar, thickness bar and register are inserted in frame making procedure.

Data Handling
Fracture, OPC, PSM, Dummy Pattern and Boolean Operation are handled according to our customers' requirements.

Jobdeck View
Customer can conduct jobdeck view at either UMC, the customer's site, or mask house. UMC engineers are available to help assist with any technical issues that might occur.
