UMC Selects BroadVision's One-To-One™
Enterprise And ERM (Enterprise Relationship Management) Applications

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Sep. 6, 2000 – BroadVision,
a leader in personalized e-business applications, announced
that UMC, a world-leading semiconductor foundry, selected the
BroadVision One-To-One Enterprise and BroadVision Enterprise
Relationship Management (ERM) applications to provide a B2E
(business-to-employee) solution for integration into its corporate
intranet. UMC is the one of the earliest adopters of BroadVision's
ERM application.
UMC's initial implementation of BroadVision's
industry-leading, e-commerce application suite will be focused
on providing robust B2E (business-to-employee) capabilities,
including mainstream publishing, personalized display of all
sources of content, and collaboration. BroadVision creates
"anchor sites" for employees that need to incorporate the
World Wide Web with a company intranet via configurable home
pages, project collaboration and Web-based lead management.
