My UMC (http://my.umc.com) represents a significant enhancement to UMC's foundry services, allowing customers to use any standard Internet browser to access the technical and logistical data they need to bring their semiconductor products to market as efficiently as possible. My UMC is a secure environment that can be accessed by UMC foundry customers.

The application features UMC's Available to Promise (ATP) system, an industry first. ATP allows customers to reserve manufacturing capacity over the Internet in real time, reducing order confirmation lead-time from days to just minutes. The My UMC web portal also gives each customer a personalized start page that serves as the gateway to a comprehensive range of logistical and technical product information. Not only does this enable customers to track their foundry products through every step of the manufacturing process, but they can also use the online tools available in the portal's Engineering Data Analysis section to enhance product yield.
